Principle Six: Low Physical Effort

The design can be used efficiently and comfortably and with a minimum of fatigue.

Guidelines:

•  Allow user to maintain a neutral body position.

•  Use reasonable operating forces.

•  Minimize repetitive actions.

• Minimize sustained physical effort.
